Hey there, I’m Walter.
Product Designer, creator and certified homebody made in NYC.
My Story
My entire life I have been a creator.
From leading my 4th grade school play as Willy Wonka to starting my YouTube channel my senior year in HS, I have always had a passion for storytelling. I love every part of it: from conception to execution, storytelling has empowered me to share my view on the world with those around me. I enjoy creating experiences for people to enjoy and remember.
When I started undergrad, I wanted to dive into a career that would be able to challenge my mind. While I ultimately obtained my degree in Computer Software Engineering from Olin College of Engineering, I quickly discovered that Product Design, specifically Experience and Interface Design, was something that spoke to that “inner creator”: my values, love, and passion for technology and passion blended seamlessly into the design field.
Since my transition into the design world from software engineering, I have volunteered as a UX Designer at an ed-tech non-profit, interned as a UX/Product Designer at Microsoft, and worked with Dassault Systèmes as a UX and UI student Design Lead for my senior capstone engineering project. I have found passion, care, and a willingness to learn more than what I was originally tasked to do in each of these projects, and that is how I know
I was born to be
a designer.
When I’m not designing on Figma or interviewing users, I enjoy spending time with my family and twin pups Jack and Dulce. During my free time, I am either running with my run club, training for the 2025 Paris Marathon, or taking photos.
Me and my twins, Jack & Dulce. I am taking care of them in honor of my late aunt (these were her babies).
One my favorite run club collabs to date with RunUltraProject x my run club, GOATS Run Club.
My best friend Paula and I founded our run club and are training for the 2025 Paris Marathon!
